Markings: The color of the Merle's pelt is yellowish-gray on the upper parts, while the throat and belly have a white color. His forelegs, muzzle and paws are reddish-brown. His back has tawny-colored underfur and long, black-tipped guard hairs that form a black dorsal stripe and a dark cross on the shoulder area and a black-tipped tail. He is light brown in color.

Personality: Merle is courteous to others (though he often doesn't mean his words), risk-taking, ambitious, very curious (and nosy) and controlled of both his emotions and actions, very cold and distrusting, a professional liar, often prone to betrayal, flirtatious (though has no sexual intentions), puts himself above the lives of others, very observant and of average intelligence, and fairly outgoing (though lives by himself).

Picture/description:
History (optional): Merle was raised in the forest alongside his band including his mother, father, maternal grandmother, and three siblings (two sisters and one brother). His fourth sibling, a hermaphrodite died at birth. His mother and grandmother were strict, but very protective of the pups. His father was more easygoing, and taught the pups how to swim through the rough currents of the Shallow River. As the pups grew older (at about an age of two years) Merle decided to move out of the band and start a family with his sister who he was close to (incest is common in nature). His sister/mate was pregnant when she died in a hunter's trap. Merle was intrigued by the complex trap and (daftly) stepped in one himself. Merle managed to escape with the help of a friendly human (an activist against the war), and since had had an interest toward the human specie (and shiny objects), but was too scared to enter the city. Weeks later the war occurred. Merle survived by hiding in a badger's den while the oblivious animal was out hunting (now presumably dead). Most of the humans gone, Merle found a chance to go explore the Rustic City, and lives there to this day.
